corporate responsibility / charity
When it comes to the impact we have upon our surroundings, we at SysMicro believe passionately in the need for shared responsibility within the business community.
As such, we employ a number of initiatives intended to demonstrate personal accountability by supporting the local community, investing in our children’s future and doing our bit to help redress the balance of energy consumption in the IT sector.
We subscribe to environmentally aware IT solutions where and whenever possible, such as consolidating servers and the virtualisation of environments, which can dramatically reduce power usage as well as the associated costs.
Of equal importance is our activity within the community, where SysMicro has sponsored sportsmen, teams and events.
In collaboration with Create a Future and Joseph Leckie Technical College, located in nearby Walsall, we sponsored the Inter-Primary School Science and Technology Challenge, which encouraged teams of youngsters to take an interest in the creative and practical application of scientific solutions in a fun and exciting way.
Our continuing relationship with Joseph Leckie CTC has seen us endorsing their football and netball teams, and further afield we have also put our name to Holmer Green FC and Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club. We are also a proud sponsor of present British Masters title holder (Lightweight division) Mark McCullough. This young boxer has a promising future and we at SysMicro are excited to be playing a part in it.
